Bradsell Contracting is a family-owned, full-service company located in Westchester, NY. They have been providing expert home renovations, painting, and carpentry services for 40 years as of 2022.
Bill Bradsell began Bradsell Contracting over 40 years ago. Bill grew up in South Salem, NY, attended John Jay High School. He met his wife, Diane, a Fox Lane graduate, right after high school. They reside with their family in Bedford, NY. In the early years, Diane helped with administrative duties and marketing. As the company grew, her role in marketing became more focused and she is now the marketing director. They expanded into carpentry in 2006 when Bill’s brother Steve joined the company. Together, the company became known as Bradsell Painting and Carpentry.
Over time the company’s expertise spanned a full range of painting, carpentry and renovation needs, including roofing, door and window replacement, custom built-ins, kitchen, and bath renovations— all the way to complete home additions and whole house renovations. In 2018 they purchased a house in ‘The Farms’ neighborhood of Bedford that was in dire need of repairs after almost burning down. The house was completely renovated, from top to bottom, including the surrounding landscaping. The endeavor was so successful that in 2019 the company name was officially changed to Bradsell Contracting.
Bradsell Contracting is dedicated to providing the best home improvement services in Westchester, Putnam, and Fairfield Counties. They are fully licensed and insured in the State of New York and Connecticut. Their team is comprised of master painters and carpenters ready for any project, from a small to-do list to a complete home renovation. As lifelong members of the community, Bradsell Contracting is dedicated to giving back. During the holidays, they reach out to their clients to support charities close to their hearts, donating their time and supplies to numerous projects throughout the year. Bradsell has contributed its efforts to the Fox Lane Booster Club, the Mt. Kisco Childcare Center, the Bedford Historical Society, and many more.
In 2022 the Bradsell family hosted their entire team at their family home in Milford, CT for a 40th Anniversary celebration on the beach. It was a sun-filled day at the beach with good food and good company. It has been a banner year for Bradsell Contracting, not only were they named “Top 500 Remodeler” by Qualified Remodeler, they were once again named “Neighborhood Favorite” by NextDoor for 2022 and received the honor of being named “Best General Contractor” Best of Westchester 2022 by Westchester Magazine voters.
