2020 Colors to look out for…

When it comes to choosing color, it can often feel like a long and daunting process. There are many things to consider when picking a color for your home and it can be very easy to get overwhelmed in the process. Does the color you want match the connecting rooms? Does it go well with the furniture? Does it fit the mood of the room? How will the lighting affect it?

To make your life easier, Benjamin Moore as released a list of some trending colors that are not only stylish and neutral, but they also coordinate well with most set ups. Here are some of what we think are the highlights of the year:

Metropolitan is probably the most popular color of the year, and for good reason! Light grays are very versatile colors and have the potential to look good on walls, ceilings, trim and especially cabinets.

Darker colors have been on the rise in recent years, and 2019 has been no different. Hale Navy is a perfect color to modernize a space; and it can also help accent lighter trim colors.

If you don’t want to go too dark, a more subdued gray like Kendall Charcoal may be the answer. Grays tend to give rooms a more timeless feeling, matching well with both modern and traditional styled furniture.
