Bradsell & the Community

As life long members of the community, we are dedicated to giving back. During the holidays, we reach out to our clients to support charities close to their hearts, donating our time and supplies to numerous projects. We have contributed our efforts to the Fox Lane Booster Club, the Mt. Kisco Childcare Center, the Bedford Historical Society and many more.

“Thank you so much for all the work you are doing at Endeavor. I am blown away at the amount of time and dedication Bradsell as to their projects. Laura was gushing to me about how great you guys are. I love Local helping Local too. Endeavor is a great organization and your help is making them even better.”

Bradsell Contracting has been immensely humbled by the outpouring of love and support from the community.

Bradsell Contracting has always put community first, it is a fundamental cornerstone the Bradsell family has always highly valued. So when COVID-19 impacted the community, Bradsell knew they had to do their part. Despite the shut down, Bradsell was deemed an essential business for emergencies. Luckily, they were able to support their crews and keep them busy enough in a time of need. Once their team members were taken care of, they turned their attention to the community. Serving food to the Volunteer’s at the Bedford Hills Train station testing sight and making food donations to those impacted economically by COVID, along with other community based needs.

The business platform, Alignable, named Bill Bradsell Bedford’s 2021 Local Business Person of the year for Bradsell Contracting’s efforts in the face of a pandemic. “It is humbling to receive the award, we will continue to go the extra mile for our community,” Owner, Bill Bradsell explained. The Bradsells have been active members of the Bedford community for over 35 years. In addition to the Alignable award, Bradsell Contracting has also been recognized as a Top 500 Qualified Remodeler nationwide in 2021.

Thank you to our client’s and community and neighbors for these honors. We could not do it without you.

A letter from Bill Coon

Recently I had the opportunity to go to work for Bradsell Contracting. Although as a cabinet maker, I have been aware of them for years as they had finished much of the work I and others had done “and made it shine.” I had never worked for them directly.

The past year of day-to-day contact with them has shown me a company of professionals and an organization with a heart and community spirit that has supported some very worth while not-for-profits.

Bradsell’s latest community endeavor was Friends of Karen, an organization that I became aware of when my wife was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 7 years ago. My wife Valerie owned and ran VK Direct, a direct-mail fundraiser for the not-for-profit world. Her clients included Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Hospital for Special Surgery, March of Dimes and Green Chimney.

So when the opportunity to help give back, and work with the Bradsell’s, I was thrilled! The family that we were going to help out had lost one of their sons to a brain tumor recently. During the son’s final decline, the father was diagnosed with cancer and was bedridden.

Our mission was to install some handrails and fix some gutters. We met the wife who was very thankful for our help. Steve Bradsell and I took care of the short list, and by the end of the day, I got to sit and chat with the husband who was quite the character.

I really enjoyed the family, the feeling of being able to help out, and also this opportunity to give the Bradsell’s kudos for their efforts.
